There is a $15.00 administration fee per child for all non-Iowa Medicaid children receiving vaccinations through our immunization clinics.  We accept cash, check, credit or debit cards for payment at this time. In addition, we are unable to accept children with Hawk-I coverage.  These children should be taken to their physician for immunizations.

Responsible and accountable to provide a broad range of services to clients in the home setting according to policies and procedures of Siouxland District Health Department, with the goal of achieving and/or maintaining client independence and to reduce, prevent or delay inappropriate institutionalization of clients.  Direct Care Workers are trained and supervised individuals who provide services, care and emotional support to clients.  They work in the Personal Care Only/Homemaker Program (PCO/HM) serving Woodbury County clients in their homes Monday through Friday 8:00-4:30pm. Reports directly to and responsible to the Personal Care Only/Homemaker Program (PCO/HM) Program Manager, and the Nursing Director.

Are you a Dental Hygienist(RDH) looking for a new challenge and enjoy working with children? Family friendly work environment, with normal hours Monday-Friday 8:00-4:30. Strong interest in the health of pediatric, adolescent and maternal health clients. Experience in oral health, maternal/child health, public health and office/clinic settings is encouraged. Must possess a Dental Hygienist license in Iowa (or able to obtain one upon hire). Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a health-related field. Applicant must have reliable transportation, valid driver’s license. Candidate for hire must pass background checks, physical exam, and drug screening prior to employment.
